Intelligent Communication using Machine Learning and Big Data for Smart cities

SCOPE:

Technology helps mankind with intense smart control through machine-to-machine communication over devices almost in every field nowadays. The real difficulty is to overlook the impact of IoT/IoE technologies to make better applications for smart cities. The Internet of things plays an important role in real-world objects and human beings communicating in a smart way. Wireless communication technologies like Bluetooth, WIFI, and ZigBee are widely utilized with the support of GSM, GPRS, 3G, and LTE networks for connectivity.

IoT connects various nonliving things through the internet and enables to share of various kinds of information with their network to automate processes for humankind. Overall, traditional cities are going to be converted into smart cities using technology. Quality of life will be possible only by making appropriate decisions. Understanding the demand for market low-cost solutions is quite helpful. Flying ad hoc networks is the trending area that needs to be integrated into smart cities. FANET is the combination of UAVs that can collect information from IoT/IoE-based ground sensor nodes. 5G and beyond networks are quite useful for smart cities to improve communication standards. The smart city concept will provide digital feedback on water systems, tools for air quality, and fast mobility. AI-enabled machine learning algorithms will improve the quality of experience in smart cities.

The objective of this Special Issue is to exhibit recent solutions and to discuss the opportunities by various researchers, scholars, academicians, and industrial experts related to Machine Learning and Big Data to make communication in speedway in the concept of smart cities.
